sakeo immigration, most of the pages were copiea of bank statements they had us print every single page for the 3 months we had to keep the 400k in the back, they were actually really helpful it was simple enough just a bit time consuming, id go to your immigration and them what they want to see for your application

I'm on marriage visa it's simple stuff but it can take a while to get all the paperwork and evidence collected, it's not something you can just do the day before u need to get a few weeks getting it altogether as there is tons of paperwork, my application was over 100 pages long soake sure give yourself time and go your local immigration and ask what they want to see as some are more strict than others, mine requir my 400k Thai baht to be in my account for 3 months when it's actually onky meant to be 2 months

@Danielle *******
it is hard you're right but it's also pot luck as well as the person dealing with it might have felt lazy that day

Imo they should be able to go visa free like we can here, Thailand isn't a poor country anymore and hasn't been for years, we are trying to get here now rather than other way around

every visa apart from elite visa costs 1900thb, they are literally just forms you fill in but most don't know that or the fact that it might say .......... Lawyers office but doesn't mean there's qualified lawyers working inside. It's a racket, I'm lucky as my Mrs worked for a visa run company so used to fill people's forms on the side just for a few hundred baht.

Problem is there is usually a lot of paperwork and if one bit is wrong you're back to starting again

give it another 30 days

I went from non B to Non O for marriage, I had to cancel my work permit etc and then I had to leave the country and then come back in on a 30 day visa free stamp and then start the in country process for obtaining the non O for marriage.

I'm not 💯 sure but I'm pretty certain that will be how you will have to do it as well, you'll need to close the loop by leaving the country Essentially ending your time here on a non B then returning to start the process for Non O retirement, although you apply for this outside the county as well, I just went for the In country option which is available as well, at least on a non O for marriage

It needs to be in small denomination bills as well, like 20s and 50s, nothing bigger ✌️

You've done good so far to have not been turned away already, each time now for you is a gamble

It's more of a case that the banks will be avoiding you not you needing to avoid them, I'd probably go with the one with a branch that's closest to where you live but it's all just a case if they will let you set an account up or not, you just have to go hitting up different bank branches until you find one that will allow you to set one up
