Hey, I will be applying for an extension of stay based one marriage on the 22nd when my 400,000thb will have been in my account for two months
Last night my wife's friend has reactivated my Netflix account after I cancelled it and so my balance went below the 400k by just 180thb
I have obviously put some money into my account to get it back over 400k but it has been 180thb less for about 7 hours
Will this be a problem and does anyone have any experience of this. I suppose it's good that I will he going to immigration at sa keao province and they are always super helpful unlike touristy offices on your samui and Phuket, do you think they will let that slide?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is concerned about their bank balance dropping slightly below the required 400,000 THB due to an unexpected Netflix charge prior to applying for an extension of stay based on marriage. While they quickly rectified the situation by adding more funds, they seek advice on whether this small lapse could jeopardize their application when they visit the Sa Kaew immigration office, known for being more lenient compared to touristy areas. Community members offer various opinions, with some suggesting it's wise to maintain a buffer above the minimum requirement and others emphasizing the importance of bank statements showing consistent compliance with the 400k THB rule.
