I agree but there is many reasons why that's happened it's just a coincidence that the UK left the EU and with deliberate interference from France, Germany and many other countries who were angry at the UK for leaving the EU

Don't forget to turn on your contactless option on your Wise card I think it's turned off by default, just go into the wise app look for the card symbol and that's where you can turn it on
