In order to get an informed answer you may want to provide a bit more info such as what visa you are currently on, what do you call ‘not much time’, how many times you’ve entered Thailand, and your nationality.

just checked with my friend, he got his in Kota Bharu about six months ago, Director with no staff. Proof of employment of staff is for the extension to stay, not a non-immigrant B multi visa for business. 👍

Stephanie Costa you get the extra 90 days if you exit and re-enter just before your 12 month visa expiry date, as Tod explained.

Stephanie Costa yes after reading your post I thought that it may be the easiest solution for you. However, Kota Bharu is known to be a little more lenient in some areas.

ah yes, that was the other concern 🙂 I’ll do that to cover my bases. I agree taking their word for it is not a good idea. I’ve found their information to be out of date/incorrect at times. All about the $. If I see you in Bangkok maybe I can buy you a beer 🙂
