Stephanie Costa you get the extra 90 days if you exit and re-enter just before your 12 month visa expiry date, as Tod explained.

Stephanie Costa yes after reading your post I thought that it may be the easiest solution for you. However, Kota Bharu is known to be a little more lenient in some areas.

ah yes, that was the other concern 🙂 I’ll do that to cover my bases. I agree taking their word for it is not a good idea. I’ve found their information to be out of date/incorrect at times. All about the $. If I see you in Bangkok maybe I can buy you a beer 🙂

400,000 for an extension based on marriage to a Thai? Either way I agree with Robert the easiest route if you have the funds. As I said, my extension based on marriage was granted based on tax documents for an income INSIDE Thailand.
