Just looking for confirmation from those in the know ๐Ÿ™‚ my friend has a non-immigrant O visa (marriage) and is due to bounce about now.. Iโ€™m aware of the โ€˜amnestyโ€™ but just to be sure/to reassure whatโ€™s his course of action? Many thanks in advance ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

do nothing, have this current 90 day entry stamp run out and go onto the amnesty

OR

BEFORE his current stamp runs out, go to the immigration office and get a 60 day visit thai family extension and NOT take the amnesty.

thanks for your quick response ๐Ÿ™‚ so after the amnesty/when(if) the borders are open he can bounce without penalty of overstay (at the border)?
