Hey TVA, if a Non Imm B visa (90 day based on teaching) expires does the work permit also expire? And if the holder of the expired Non b switches to another visa (documents not ready for a second Non-Imm b..) does the work permit that’s associated with it become invalidated? can another Non Imm B be applied for during the validity of the work permit or is it just a bust? TIA.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When a Non Imm B visa expires, the associated work permit also becomes invalidated. If the holder switches to a Tourist Visa, which prohibits employment, the work permit must be cancelled. It is possible to apply for a new Non Imm B visa while the work permit is still valid if the holder travels abroad with the necessary company documents.
