90 day report at Koh Samui immigration. Extension to stay based on marriage (also holding a current work permit). Dropped off my passport before lunch and got a ticket, popped back in after lunch and picked it back up with a new stamp in it. No mention of TM30. Renewal in 90 days will update then. 🤟

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully completed their 90-day report at Koh Samui immigration while also applying for an extension to stay based on marriage, holding a current work permit. They dropped off their passport, received a ticket, and returned later to collect it with a new stamp, without any mention of TM30, indicating a smooth process. They plan to renew their extension in 90 days.

a new stamp in the passport for a 90 day report? I hope you mean a new slip of paper attached like this example:

Your extension will be the time they'll most likely ask for it

Troy Cornick so far... no fines or mention of TM30 from Samui of any kind. I wasn’t asked to provide evidence of TM30 registration when I applied for my extension and I know others as recent as August that haven’t had to provide evidence of registration upon initial application or renewal (not saying that this hasn’t happened). It’s not chaengwattana and I guess highlights the difference between immigration offices in Thailand. Long may it last
