Yes, you’ll be fine. I had my DTV approved in October and arrived in late December, and that timing was not an issue. Since you now have a five-year visa, you can come and go as needed. Just make sure you follow the requirements: complete your TDAC within three days prior to arrival, and once you are in Thailand, make sure you stay on top of your 90-day reporting as well.

David Walley Good luck. Honestly, with the attitude you’re showing, I don’t see how you expect to succeed in Thailand. Based on your comments and the way you present yourself, it comes across like you’re just another tourist trying to act like something more. The way you carry yourself isn’t doing you any favors, and it’s hard to take anything you say seriously.

No. Even if you do, you risk getting funds frozen.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Go to immigration report your 90-day

Thailand’s 90-day reporting (often called TM47) is the requirement to confirm your current address to Thai Immigration every 90 days only if you stay in Thailand for 90 consecutive days.

Who has to do it (including DTV)

• If you’re in Thailand more than 90 continuous days, you must report.

• DTV holders: Yes—you still do 90-day reporting if you remain in Thailand over 90 consecutive days.

When it’s due (the window)

You can file within a 23-day window:

• 15 days before your 90th day, up to

• 7 days after your 90th day
