I got my DTV visa approved for Thailand, but my plans changed. My flight was delayed by about a month, so my entry date and departure location are different from what I submitted. I’ll enter Thailand about 4 months after applying.
Has anyone had a similar situation? Did it cause any issues or require any updates?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community shared that delaying entry into Thailand after DTV visa approval does not typically cause issues. Users reported entering much later than their application states, indicating that the visa remains valid for five years from approval. The only notable requirements mentioned were to complete the TDAC prior to arrival and to ensure regular 90-day reporting once in Thailand.

There is a requirement to have your first entry within some time period I believe you may want to check the Thai embassy website or do some online searching. Sorry I don’t recall the time frame
Yes, you’ll be fine. I had my DTV approved in October and arrived in late December, and that timing was not an issue. Since you now have a five-year visa, you can come and go as needed. Just make sure you follow the requirements: complete your TDAC within three days prior to arrival, and once you are in Thailand, make sure you stay on top of your 90-day reporting as well.
Yeah entered about 5 months later than the date on my application didn't matter at all. I think the only time that date really matters is if ypu don't give them reasonable time they can use it as an e cuse to cancel the app. Now if you said you were going for a soft power reason they might ask why you missed your date. But probably fine.
