DTV Visa Income Requirement Clarification.
Good day,
I have a quick question regarding the income requirements for the DTV visa. I am preparing to submit my application soon (Washington Thai Embassy) and noticed that the financial criteria request three months of bank statements.
In my case, two out of the three most recent statements reflect income that exceeds the minimum requirement. Although one month falls below the threshold, however- I do receive a consistent weekly income. Would this be acceptable, considering the overall stability of my earnings?
Washington Thai Embassy
A copy of a recent saving or checking bank statement for the last three months with an ending balance of no less than 500,000 THB or ($16,000 USD) that shows the applicant's name and date. In case of submitting a family bank statement, proof of relationship (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate) must be provided. / sponsorship letter.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa application primarily requires proof of a bank balance rather than an income verification. Applicants must provide three months of bank statements showing a total of at least 500,000 THB (or $16,000 USD) in a bank account owned solely by the applicant. Comments indicate that having one month with below the requirement is acceptable as long as the overall balance meets the threshold, highlighting that embassies focus on the final statement's balance.
