Would love to get your help on the below, and if you ever come up with that request. I submitted my documents to the Belgian embassy with the digital normal workcation (I have a permanent contract here that lets me work from anywhere), and 3 days late,r they came back with the following request for additional documents:
Higher res photo - did you scan or maybe take a picture of your passport-sized photo with your phone? I scanned it to ensure it looks better, but I guess not suitable
2.Other request documents: Since application would get 5 years-visa, please provide the letter of explanation of your plan/ project for the next 5 years in Thailand
Have you ever needed to submit project plan like this - not sure what plan they expect, that maybe I want to take language and cooking courses, perhaps at my own pace and understand the culture better?
✨✨ My DTV Soft Power Thai Cooking (Arun Thai Cooking Class) visa has been approved in Laos. Everything went super smoothly, and all the required documents were arranged within just one day.
My DTV visa journey (Thai Embassy in Laos):
Applied online → paid the fee at the Thai Embassy in Laos in Thai baht (cash only) → waited for my interview appointment → had the interview and received the result on the same day.
1. How to support myself: I will say it’s from my savings with that 500k thb bank statement. Would it be enough to explain myself?
2. My plan after the 5 yr visa: I will use soft power Muay Thai. So what would be an appropriate and successful explanation? If I say I would like to renew the DTV or apply other visa to stay in Thailand, will it give a bad impression?
If you apply for 6 months muy Thai course for soft power DTV from an approved provider will you still get 5 year visa? I’ve read mixed reports. Applying from London embassy if that makes a difference.
I have noticed on my computer ads for a 5-year. visa for 30,000 Baht. As with the rules, I will not mention the company. I have just re-newed my ret. visa so I asked them to clarify their position. They just sent me an overview without any hard facts. Any news about this, please?
Hi people. During this 5 year visa, do I ever have to show any documents, such as bank statements, contracts and such to re-enter the country again? OR when Its approved I only need to show the documentation that I have the approved visa?
Question if you book a 3 month cooking class for the DTV you complete the course leave and re enter with nothing booked are you still allowed entry for the 5 years TIA
