 The system allows you to do it up to that amount of time at maximum.

So we will error on the side of caution until they make it more clear.

 Actually the system technically allows you to apply the same day of your trip.

You cannot apply more than 3 days before your arrival date as the system will prevent you from doing so.

The TM6 is phased out in favor of a online form which you fill out before you arrival.

 Yes they would need to do a TDAC, same as the TM6

 Those are real discussions some of which were about the ETA before they announced the TDAC.

The TDAC is a TM6 replacement, so if you needed to do a TM6 before then you now need to do a TDAC.
