Today was the first arrival with TDAC. I'm a NonB Visa holder and filled the TDAC 2 days ago. The App worked fluently, within 10min. I had the download with QR code. The immigration watched my Passport and Visa but surprisingly did not ask for TDAC. When I was asking why, she answered that all data are already in her computer. Fingerprint, picture, stamp in passport and within 30sec. I was through. In my opinion the TDAC is one of the best ideas Thailand ever had, as the immigration awaits you and your data are already approved. They don't ask any question, just say hello, stamp the passport and you are good to go.
Entered Thailand with DTV, along with my 3 dependents, yesterday. No questions asked — they just checked and stamped. I submitted all my hotel booking receipts from Airbnb and Agoda, stapled with my arrival card and eVisa copy.
Hi when filling the TDAC card online can it be done before the 3day arrival date as I tried and it would not let me. Also do you still have to register with immigration when you arrive?
My arrival in Thailand is scheduled for May 1st. Initial concerns regarding the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) application proved unfounded. The process was completed in under five minutes; the application was simple and straightforward. The email confirmation/QR code were received immediately, with a convenient download option also provided after submission. The entire experience was seamless and straightforward.
"If you are arriving in Thailand on 1 May, you can now submit your digital arrival card (tdac.immigration.go.th). You can complete it on your smartphone even while waiting in the immigration queue. No smartphone? No problem. Use one of the TDAC kiosks provided at the airport."
TDAC - OK so my reading of it is that from May 1st you must submit an online TDAC, this can be done no sooner than three days before arrival but can be done any time within 3 days of arrival, so you could literally get off the plane in Thailand and make your submission before you get to passport control / immigration. As long as you get your email confirmation of TDAC before you get in front of the IO you are good to go? Is that the correct interpretation of it? TIA
I will be arriving in Thailand on 3rd of May- leaving U.K 2nd of May. Unfortunately, after studying many posts regarding new TDAC visa I still do not know weather to apply more than 3 days or less than 3 days before arrival. Please clarify many thanks.
