Arrival post,

Got approved for the DTV visa two months ago, arrived a month later than my original intended arrival date. Immigration officer seemed happy that I had a visa, and said that most people aren’t getting appropriate visas at the moment. (I believe people have to apply for a visa exemption on arrival pre departure now, but a lot of people aren’t) stamped me in and said after 180 days to leave Thailand, and then come back for a new stamp. Whole process took 2-3 minutes, didn’t ask for any documentation etc. just had a print out of my visa. 🙂

I have searched, but can not find the answer.

American. I would like the visa exempt, as i have gotten in the past.

I may be confused, but do i need to some how electronically inform Thai immigration that i plan to arrive? I thought i read someplace somethibg more was involved than just showing up.

Can i just fly into bkk as i have years gone by?

Question:

I have a DTV Visa and will be arriving into Thailand in November.

I do not have a return/departing ticket booked as I didn’t need to have or prove a return flight as part of the DTV application process.

Am I going to run into any issues at immigration when arriving in Thailand? Or does having a DTV exclude that requirement?

Just a quick question: I will be arriving in September. I'm staying about 20 days. I haven't been to Thailand since 2012. At immigration is it now the case that you have to say exactly where you are staying? I used to write on the form Bangkok or Ubon and was never questioned about it or asked for more details.

A question about TM6 forms.

Thailand canceled TM6 Arrival/Departure cards in the airports but not at the land border crossings.

If one arrives in Thailand by air without getting TM6 form, how could he/she exit Thailand by land without Departure card required at the land border crossing?

Looking for clarification on the current TM30 situation. I have an Non-Immigrant O Retirement visa.

I've just returned to Chiang Mai after a few months in the UK. I am still at the same previously registered address in Chiang Mai.

Do I need still need to complete a TM30? And if so how quickly?

I received my eVisa and wondering when I land at BKK is there a counter for those that have an eVisa? Always did the visa on arrival. Thanks 🙏

Does anyone know if the TM6 is still in use in Thailand in particular Phuket? Is Phuket international airport arrivals normally busy? How long would you normally expect to wait? Thanks!
