Friend had a weird situation at Phang-nga immigration yesterday. Said covid extensions weren’t a thing anymore and was given 30 days only (even though they had already had their 30 day standard extension). Looking at the stamp it seems like a standard covid extension stamp, but for only 30 days. Same happened to a friend in Bangkok, but another friend who went at the same time in Bangkok got 60 days…

Any ideas what happened there

This happened to me twice before, it's a bit annoying! They've been able to sort mine out at the local immigration office in the past, but that was a while ago. The second time I caught it before I left the booth at the airport.

Or just get the 60 day tourist visa from the Thai embassy in the UK and don’t worry about having to extend anything locally.

Can still do drive thru at airport, but Promenada is pretty quiet at the moment. In and out in about 2 mins last week 🙂
