Hello- I have a DTV visa but upon checking my stamp in my passport they only gave me a 2 month visa stamp. I assume because I was with my partner who was getting a visa exemption they got mixed up and gave me the same.

Has anyone experienced this and know the best way to resolve- if I can do it at the visa office or does it need to be done anywhere else?

Thank you

A friend arrived at Suvarnabhumi visa exempt and was (we assume) accidentally stamped in for 60 days. Visitors from his country are only permitted 14 days visa exempt. Any idea what might happen if he follows what's been stamped and stays say a total of 3 weeks?

UPDATE: She got stamp corrected at the airport, today. Thanks everyone for your comments 😊

.

A friend of mine entered on her ED Visa for the first time thru' CNX airport. The IO stamped Non-RE instead of Non-ED. It was on 2nd of October and we just today found out that the stamp is incorrect.

Kindly advise which immigration office she should go to fix the issue.

Thank you.

Hello!

I have a question regarding the Non Imm B visa.

I am going to be employed by a BOI company.

I have applied and obtained my Non Imm B visa in Vientiane.

I then proceeded to the immigration and obtained a stamp on my passport where the office wrote Non B on the stamp.

My HR in my company tells me that the stamp is not valid and that I should get a Non IB stamp. She also says that I need to get to the origin place where the mistake was made to fix it (which is Nong Khai, I am in Bangkok)

Is it true? Can I fix the stamp in Bangkok?

Thank you for your help

Hello,

I came back into Thailand at the beginning of the month, and I’ve just noticed my passport has been stamped wrong.

I am on a 60day tourist (e)visa, but I have only been stamped in for 30days. at the bottom of the stamp, they wrote “Evisa”

Will I need to go and get this changed at immigration?

Thanks.

I came into the Kingdom on 6th sept on a 60 day SETV

This morning i went to Udon Thani Immigration to extend my Visa 30 days.

Only when i did my paper work that I realised I had been stamped in for 30 days and now I was 6 days over stayed.

I explained this to the IO, only to be told that I would have to go to Swampy Immigration to get it sorted. My Wife give him verbal abuse then the big boss stepped in and said he could sort it.

Morral of my story is, once you get stamped in Double check the dates are correct as quite hard to do at a later date.

2 1/2 hours later and 2500 bhat lighter, I went for a well deserved beer 555
