I went to Udon and the IO was very polite, quick and helpful in processing my 90 day stamp. He said if I wanted to I could renew at somewhere else, but I would have to submit more paperwork, and again submit a TM30 on return to Udon.
My next date for the 90 day report is Jan 7th. Note, my original 1 year marriage extension of my Non-O visa expires on Feb. 1, 2023.
My question is can I now reapply for a 1 year extension before my existing one based on mariage expires? The leaflet I have notes that a TM7 must be filled out and valid documents be submitted including a valid Non-O visa. The last Non-O visa I have is from 2021 which I used to get my current 1 year extension. Thanks very much!
Tod, one more question please. When will I have to apply in Udon for a new one year extension of my Non-O visa? My current one expires on Feb. 1, 2023. Again, Thanks!
Thanks Ludwig and Tod. I understand I will need more re-entry permits if we leave Thailand after we get back this time. I think we may go to Laos and/or Vietnam and will get it in Udon before we leave the country. Again, thanks very much for staying with me on this!
Thanks Tod. Great news on the insurance. I always get Canadian travel insurance anyway, but had wondered about the "Covid" insurance. As time rolls on towards Feb. 1, I will apply for a new one year extension. Do I have to check in with Udon Immigration within 90 days after my Oct. 6 2022 arrival? Thanks again.
