I hope this is okay as it says...and Everything Else. Would anyone have an idea of a good hotel to stay at in Phnom Penh for a couple of nights in mid-Dec. Thinking of good location, clean and safe. Maybe up to $100 a night or so.

Iโ€™ve stayed a few times in the city. Upscale and downscale - Iโ€™ll stay this one again for location, price and a nice pool on top - good luck and ignore arsehole comments from dickheads like Rene above

Been doing it all my life. First backpacked SE Asia in 1981. No phones, no credit cards, no internet, no Lonely Planet, just pockets of travelers' cheques and chatting with people in the road. Also backpacked all of Mexico, Central and South America down to south of Tierra Del Fuego (3 times). Also South Pacific down to Papua New Guinea and a lot of obscure countries-been to Timor Leste? I've done lots of exploring as a commercial fisherman and a gold mining prospector and investor. All I am looking for is a recommendation after our stay on Singapore and before heading up to Siem Reap and Chiangmai. There is no need to dump on me because I am asking for advice. Usually my wife and I stay stay at the Billabong, but they are not answering their phones or their email.
