you can apply for a multiple entry visa in other countries just outside of Thailand. I will go to Malaysia for my next one because as you said the online system doesn’t have the multi entry as an option

it can be any country outside of Thailand. I have applied for my visa previously many years ago in Malaysia which is a little more lenient. Now that Australia and many other countries offer the visa online and they don’t offer a 12 month multi entry as they did before.

Hi I applied for my non o back in Australia based on marriage to a Thai. That has changed now since it’s all online and you’re right it’s only a maximum of 3 months now. I think I will go to Penang in Malaysia for my next visa as I found them to be quite good in the past when I lived here previously.

I think by paying this fee is why I’ve never been asked to show proof or income or account. Only thing needed was passport so it’s nice and easy. To me it’s worth it as I’ve never had any issues once I pay this

I have been to Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar and been charged the same each time. Maybe you’re right but I’ve never questioned it. Next time I will see if I can exit there without paying that fee. Better late than never 😅
