you have a 60 day multiple entry tourist visa that is valid for 6 months but you can only stay a maximum of 60 days at a time ,you can leave Thailand as many times as you want in the 6 months that the visa is valid for and get 60 days on returning to Thailand so no need to do a 30 day extension .
I had this visa when I came in April this year ,you can also get 60days on the last day your visa is valid for to get 8 months from the visa, you can then either get a 30 day extension or do a boarder run and get a 60 day exemptions then extend it by 30 days giving you 9 months in total.
If you are going to get another 60 days just before the tourist visa runs out I wouldn't leave it to the last day I would do a boarder run about 1 week before the tourist visa runs out.
If the ford has a wet cambelt don't go a where near it they are trouble, who would design a engine with a rubber belt running in oil.Dont know if they use these engines in Thailand ,wet belt engines are used in Europe and they are crap
you need a bank account to get a visa ,the banks won't give you a bank account unless you have a visa, having tried to sort out the bank account first and failed I decided to use an agent
*****
bht for bank account and retirement visa on the first year then is

every year after.

) I get £1000 interest per year this covers any agents fees plus a bit left for me.
Come on a 60 day visa then apply for a retirement visa or get a multiple entry 60 tourist visa can stay for 6 months every 60 days you need to do a visa run to get another 60 days,or chance it on multiple 60 day exemptions doing boarder runs
tried Elton get bank account in Ban phe Bangkok bank filled in all the paperwork the bank workers were very helpful right at the end computer said no had to have 60 days left on my visa,as I had a 60 day multiple entry tourist visa I would of had to do a visa run and open the bank account on the same day.
