What you have is a 60 day multiple entry tourist visa it lasts for 6 month but you can only spend 60 days at a time then you have to do a boarder run to get another 60 days ,you can leave as often as you want and get 60 days on return.

I came on one of these in April have since converted it to a retirement visa using an agent.

You can get more than 6 month out of the visa if you leave and reenter on the day before the visa expires you will get 60 days and be able to extend it for 30 days.

Don't forget the visa exemption is supposed to be changing in the new year if it happens, you will have to apply on line for a 60 exemption before you arrive it's called the ETA
Simon *******
You will get a visa exemption for 60 days then if you leave and return you will get another 60 day exemptions.

The original 60 day exemption will stop when you leave Thailand.

@John *******
you have a 60 day multiple entry tourist visa that is valid for 6 months but you can only stay a maximum of 60 days at a time ,you can leave Thailand as many times as you want in the 6 months that the visa is valid for and get 60 days on returning to Thailand so no need to do a 30 day extension .

I had this visa when I came in April this year ,you can also get 60days on the last day your visa is valid for to get 8 months from the visa,you can then either get a 30 day extension or do a boarder run and get a 60 day exemptions then extend it by 30 days giving you 9 months in total.

If you are going to get another 60 days just before the tourist visa runs out I wouldn't leave it to the last day I would do a boarder run about 1 week before the tourist visa runs out.

This depends on what visa you have ,if youvare arriving on a 60 day exemption then yes it's correct if you have a retirement visa one way is ok

you need a bank account to get a visa ,the banks won't give you a bank account unless you have a visa,having tried to sort out the bank account first and failed I decided to use an agent
