No problem if u are a bit flexible and willing to spent a months or two abroad with interruption you can spend decades here. Don’t listen to the grumpy guys here .. who will most certainly comment on my writing.

Just study the visas available and choose and if you can fulfill the requirements enjoy your time in Thailand.

Does the METV still exist? I am certain they cancelled this scheme last year.

And yes u have to leave or extend another 30 days with any visa including the METV.
