ok fair enough. i'll remember to leave a post after, in case people find it useful. You mentioned the office by the airport... I was going to go to the one up at central festival mall. is there any particular reason i should avoid that one? or did you just mention the one by the airport because that's the main one most people go to

ok, brilliant. appreciate the advice. I have about 400k in regular current accounts, and then can make up the rest with money in a fixed savings account which is due to expire in a couple of months. Based on your experience, do you think this is going to be a problem?

ahhh, ok. do you still can't show funds in a fixed savings account? even if it's due to expire soon?

It’s not that bad this year. So hopefully won’t get worse

Lots of people go somewhere else. The people who stay get a good air purifier, and spend time in places that also have good air purifiers

I can’t imagine you’d get in trouble if you went somewhere else. It’s Thailand. The only thing that might cause problems is doing the 3 month check in thing. If you have to do that before Songkran

was it as thorough as when you first applied? or do you think I’ll be able to get away with having the money in savings accounts?

my visa isn't single entry. this was an announcement from the thai authorities with more details about how all dtv visas work

@Mason ******
no, there was some announcement made the other week with more details about how the visa works. I'm pretty sure it said the visa is valid for 5 years, but you only get 180 days plus a 180 day extension. then canceled
