just said she went to the one in HCMC without an appointment and they processed her application anyway
I was at the one in Hanoi yesterday and it seemed pretty quiet. Even when you could book an appointment all the spaces were pretty much open. so maybe if the evisa system isn't up and running when you arrive you can try and do it in person anyway
i was in thailand before I flew to hanoi to get the visa sorted. So I just gave them a few of these slips they give you to show your insurance company. They list what the diagnosis is, the treatment plan, any medication etc
you should be okay with just the letter from Bangkok hospital showing an appointment and a treatment plan. But if you have some paperwork from doctors in your home country it can't hurt to give them some of that too
My tactic was to give them just a little bit, then if they asked for more I had a whole folder full of past appointment slips etc that I could have shown them
i had a hotel booking for vietnam and a residential contract on a house in thailand. But pretty sure you can also just show a hotel booking in Thailand too
the bank notes thing was because I heard some places were very strict about the conditions of the notes. only accepting perfect condition. But now it seems vietnam will be switching to an evisa system. So you can just pay online without notes
I showed two UK bank accounts. Because I had transferred some money into a different account a few months ago before I knew about this visa. So I just highlighted the transfers that showed the money going out/in etc and that was fine
Also worth mentioning that if any of your documents are not in either english or thai you will need to get them translated and notorised, I believe
ahh... yes, i did book through this website. But it seems maybe they are now transitioning to the evisa system. So maybe you will have to apply online instead of in person like I did
