Currently on a 2 month tourist visa (German passport), extension done - next Laos border run. Do you know if I show them by re entry into Thailand a new e-tourist visa it will be activated? It wouldn’t be a problem with an re-entry by plane but I am not sure about an arrival by land.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the activation of a new e-tourist visa upon re-entry into Thailand after a border run to Laos, focusing on whether this is possible when entering by land. Respondents mention that if the visa is valid and unused, it should be acceptable at any entry point, with some clarifications about the necessity of having a multi-entry visa.
