 some people do NOT have 800k either in their foreign bank account nor in a thai bank account and use an agent to trick the system. I see above you corrected your previous statement. 👍

Just opened bank account. On the residence paper, bring your tm30 to immigration and ask specifically for a residence certificate “to open bank account”.

I went to the bank the first time with a certificate of residence issued to “buy a bike” but not accepted
