unless they put some kind of stamp in your passport you have nothing to really worry about although it may be difficult for you to get in, you're going to have to use some kind of agency to get fast tracked at an airport into the country with a visa. How long was your overstay? Where and how did you encounter the immigration police?

Somewhere in your documents you should have that you're okay to be a remote worker and specifically in Thailand and you won't be dealing with any Thai businesses people or entities as clients.

Include a very brief cover letter along with your DTV scheme documents and combine it all into a single PDF for upload

They only look at incoming transfers, that is all they are mandated to scrutinize in regards to visa/extension requirements.

maybe leave and re-enter with visa exempt. Overstay stamps don't look good. I'm assuming your Ed visa permission to stay was dated today. Next time you need immigration office services a keen eyed IO might notice, but then again they might not.

Leaving the country won't cancel the visa, you need a letter from your school and prepare to pay overstay fine

Apply in Southeast Asia. Be prepared to show you are financially secure and independent.

If you can show the paper trail, amount leaving your AUS bank on X date, same amount being deposited into your Kbank account on Y date, any reasonable IO will accept the documents.
