The DTV visa isn’t for the Thai language learning. That would be the education visa.

The processing time depends on the embassy you use. I applied on LA and it took less than a week. But I also did a Workcation versus soft power.

You don’t have to go to the embassy, just do it online. I did mine and sent it to the LA Embassy.
