Thai language is not an approved soft power entry scheme. You could sign up for some other approved scheme and then do your Thai language on top of that.

Read the last 50 posts in the group to bring yourself up to speed. Thai language course on it's own doesn't qualify. Ensure whatever soft power scheme provider you use has a history of successful approvals and at which embassy.

Most people do a border bounce to get a new 180 day stamp, will not be questioned about funds bouncing in and out of the country. It is possible to do an in-country extension but not recommended and in that case you would have to update and resupply basically all the paperwork from the original application and depending on the office you use the money would have to be in a Thai Bank

To clarify on the medical scheme. You will need a letter from a doctor or a hospital in Thailand stating your condition and ongoing treatment plan with appointments lasting at least 6 months. A wellness center application is very risky as most people have not gone this route and we don't know how consulates look at them and what criteria they want for approval.

In a nutshell, once you enter you have about 30 days to get the money in the bank so that it can season for 60 days before you apply for your extension, before your permission to stay stamp expires.

It's no surprise that you can't do anything without a passport at the bank

Dicey. Suggest you highlight the funds that you want to make note of, the account number, the account holder name, the corresponding exchange rate, relevant dates. Don't just dump the statement on them.
