How much time should I allow between my visa application and the start of a soft power activity in Thailand?

London Embassy-for a successful application how much time can there be between visa application and first date of chosen soft power activity? I’ve seen someone comment that the date of their soft power activity class was too far in the future from the date of their visa application. Would one month be sufficient for me to get to Thailand and then start my first class? Thanks
