TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about returning to Thailand after a trip to Vietnam, given that their return flight is scheduled for 92 days after their initial arrival. Responses suggest that as long as they leave Thailand and re-enter within 60 days, they can reset their visa exemption. To avoid issues with the airline or immigration, it is recommended to book a flight to Vietnam soon and have a confirmed onward ticket.
I would say yes because you are leaving over 60 days which is all you are allowed on your visa exempt. The airline may not let you board. So buy a ticket via onward (on the internet). It will be super cheap and your airline will accept it. Once in Thailand sort out the Vietnam trip. Peace of mind.

Your time in Thailand isn't continuous, your 60 day free stamp is used when leaving until you enter again for another 60 at free stamp.

Calm down. Once you leave and return, the clock starts again.😎
