I agree with you. For me to go back to my country I have nothing there anymore. No more vested interest in going back to my country. My vested interest is here in Thailand my wife and daughter are here my home is here. So I agree with you sir.

From my understanding with international driver's licenses you must have the regular National license already renewed. Before you can even get an international driver's license. If you get caught in Thailand driving without a license it's a $1,000 Thai baht fine and up to a month in jail.

Use an ATM at the airport. Tiling. If your bank reimburses you for Bank fees than you will get a refund for the surcharge you get charged for it. Otherwise you can change it at the airport as well. In Bangkok. Just one thing for lower denominations they give you a lower rate for the same money. So bring higher denominations if you're going to use cash. But the ATM gives you the same rate every time.

Once Upon a Time you could be able to come and teach English anywhere in Thailand degree or no degree. Legal or illegal. But if you get caught teaching illegal there is some very harsh repercussions for that. One of them being five years in prison minimum 2000 Baht fine and up to a hundred thousand Baht fine. Best to do everything by the book. So when they take a look you're all nice and legal. So the answer to your question do you need a degree. By Ty Law they require a degree. Once upon a time a t certificate with work but not anymore.

good point, but I don't have an exit strategy because I plan to stay. Legally. My next step is getting marriage visa. I just needed the extension because my passport was about to expire at the end of this year and didn't want to have any troubles with giving the marriage visa. So now I have plenty of time to get my new passport and everything done. Wish you all well on your endeavors.
