When applying for an annual extension of Non-O marriage visa, does the Thai spouse need to be physically present and accompany me to Chaeng Wattana (CW)?

5 years, we've gone to CW together for the extension but her brand new job prevents her from taking the trip this year

Has anybody changed their Non-Immigrant O Visa based on retirement To a Non-Immigrant O Visa based on marriage?

Is it as easy as waiting for my retirement visa to run out then apply for the marriage visa?

We've applied for a retirement visa and got an email stating that the Wise Acct isn't considered a bank which we've transferred most of our funds to, that bank so not sure how to go about this. Everything else is in order so I'm left confused on what to do, please any advise anyone!

Hi. I am Canadian on a Non-O Retirement Visa with the One Year Extension with Multiple Entries. I got the One Year Extension on Dec. 26 2024 and it expires on Jan 2, 2026. My last physical 90 day checkin was March 21, 2025. I then went to Canada missing the next check in date of June 18, 2025.

We are now entering Thailand on October 26. What must I do when I check in for this 90 day period? My wife and I are still living at our house in our Udon Thani village.

Hi, could someone confirm that for a new non-o retirement visa applied for within Thailand, the 800k must be transferred internationally (from another country)?

And must be on the bank account 2 months prior application?

Next month I'm ready to go to emigration to change my 60 days stamp to my first non O visa stamp. I'm already approved for this, here in Hua Hin. What documents I have to bring with me?

Hi guys, hoping for some advice. I am getting close to the time to extend my retirement non O for 12 months. I have some holidays planned for October. I am wondering if I should start the process before or after I come back for hols (inside Thailand) do immigration hold on to your passport for any time ? If I apply beforehand and they give me a date to return is it negotiable? Can I ask for a date after I return ? (Still before my current extension runs out ) thanks 🙏

Not sure if I’m lucky, or just maybe have done things correctly. My wife had a phone call from our local BB manager requesting we call into the office with some paperwork with regard to my account with them. For her it was her Thai ID, marriage certificate and house book. For me it was passport with current long term visa, bank books and driving licence. She did say there was no problem just a check up to see all was in order. We were there a max 30minutes while she checked everything and gave the all clear. She confirmed I would have no problems getting the 12 months bank statements and bank letter required in order to apply for my next retirement extension. I then visited immigration who confirmed there wouldn’t be a problem changing from monthly 65k transfers to 800k banked money method for my next extension.

I have recently been told that an 11 year old American who entered a little over a year ago on a tourist visa will be expedited and blacklisted for 1-5 years. I thought there was an exception for those under 15. Is that the case? Thanks for the support!
