Thanks for your answers gentlemen. My previous long stay was Retirement Visa extensions. I also had ME Spouse Visas obtained in Australia and Vietnam. So I am not familiar with other options in country. IO gave me grief this exempt entry while I sort my options out so at least I know that I don't have to leave and wait for a Visa. Good to know my options now.

thanks. I did know that. At the moment I am divorced from the mother of the children. I have not remarried yet. But will probably get married end of May. Just deciding which way to go.
