A few updates for Korat immigration from my visit today. TM30 is required for applications. If you stay at a hotel in Korat for your TM30 you must show booking AND the booking must be 7 days or more. Leaving Thailand and returning to same address requires a new TM30 within 3 days of arrival in Korat. The TM30 fine is 800 baht for late submissions.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent updates from Korat immigration highlight that the TM30 form is required for applications. For hotel stays, bookings must be for 7 days or more. Additionally, if you leave Thailand and return to the same address, a new TM30 submission is necessary within 3 days of arrival. A late TM30 submission incurs a fine of 800 baht.

i don't know. Just a local rule. I questioned them about it because the hotel didn't submit my TM30 online. They said it didn't matter because they wanted the hotel booking and receipt showing 7 days. I ended up getting my gf to register my TM30 at her house with Immigration. It was easier.

Once you've gone through the 3 step process to report online the first time subsequent reports are very easy doing just step 3

The whole process at Korat was so different. Weird in fact. 30 minutes sitting in front of the IO just to get a 30 day extension FFS. I think she was getting approval from the moon.

they said that we can not report online. Must be at the office. In person. Very weird. I will try online but gf only listens to Thai officials. May not be easy
