Hi. I am from Australia and I have a 30 day visa exempt stamp that i must leave on 27 January. I am in Surin and can get to Chong Chom easily. I have an unused 30 day Cambodian e-visa that I got just in case. I am leaving Thailand for Australia before 7 February so I only need a week or so. What are my best options?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on extending their stay in Thailand, where they have a 30-day visa exempt stamp that expires on January 27. They are in Surin and considering a trip to Chong Chom to possibly cross into Cambodia using an unused 30-day e-visa. Suggestions include either doing a border bounce to receive another 30-day visa exempt stamp or applying for a 30-day extension of stay at the local immigration office for a fee. There was also concern about the acceptance of the Cambodial e-visa at the Chong Chom border.
, before the Buriram Immigration office opened ALL the people who lived in Buriram province had to go to the KCI office for their 90 day reporting and their extensions of stays. :O It made for some very long road trips ;)
. Thanks for the heads up, ive used the border crossing at kapchoeng many times but didnt know there's an immigration office there as well. Learn something new everyday.
Either a border, bounce or the 30 day extension. Probably a border bounce is cheaper (I think the Cambodian visa is like 1000baht or 30 USD) instead of a 1900baht extension
I only need another 10 days so I will just do a border crossing. There is Kapchoeng Immigration at Chong Chom but I do not want to get into the whole TM.30 issue so border crossing might be the go.
Ok thanks for your help. Much appreciated. My Thai girlfriend and her family have not been able to provide much insight. It is not a problem a Thai national would have 555
