Interesting question and answers thank you. I have a follow up. What if I were to spend alternate 3 month slots in Malaysia and Thailand as a tourist in both places? So enter Thailand (and Malaysia) twice a year. Would that be acceptable to immigration? My home is Malaysia, but the MM2H scheme is fraught with problems currently.
