Need advice, I thought I had this all figured out until the US embassy cancelled my appointment for next week. My 1 year education visa expires Jan 15. I planned on returning to US yesterday but due to covid epicenter issues there. I moved up my marriage, we planned it after I returned summertime. So now that the embassy isn’t available for the affidavit it puts the Amphoe visit on hold. What do I do ? My options to fall in to amnesty ? Or can I file the TM7 with the pending marriage to follow ? Thank you.

Anyone gotten an extension of stay based on marriage (At Chaengwattana) without having the affidavit of freedom to marry form? I got the form before getting married, but never figured I would need that form again. Now seeing it as a requirement on a list of docs needed for the extension. Maybe not necessary? Seems quite redundant seeing as I am clearly married to a Thai already.

Sorry if this is not related, remove if not allowed, . but I'm struggling to understand the marriage certificate process for myself I understand my wife's process but as a British citizen I have to jump through hoops and I'm struggling to understand, can someone clarify the process of obtaining a marriage certificate for a U.K. Citizen marring a Thai citizen please?

Thanks in advance.
