I've done this almost every year. Just need valid re-entry permit and be back by the date indicated.

Bangkok they never visited us at home but good advice above to let them know your travel plans.

exactly. As I said if you apply say 30 or 20 days early you can still travel with the current multi re-entry when "under consideration" for new extension.

Very much possible and I have the passport with stamps to prove it.

why would you buy multi re-entry as its valid only until the under consideration period.

I have left the country couple of times during the under consideration period with single re-entry permit. As Todd said it's ok as long as you are back before the stamp expires.

Buy multi re-entry only once you have the annual extension stamped.

If you tell them you need to take quick trip but will be back before the under consideration stamp expires they will sell you single re-entry.

Or if you apply but early and have previous extension with multi re-entry valid you can just travel as long as it's within the expiry of previous extension and you are back on the day you need to report back for your new extension.

yes you can. At least I got it few years back in Bangkok. As others say just tell the immigration officer about your planned busieness trip.

I came thru Swampy this afternoon. Immigration was slow as they were questioning quite a few ppl and asking them additional documents.

What I could gather it was "how long you stay" and "where you stay". So proof of departure flight and/or address beyond the first night test&go hotel.

Also large signs above the counter saying "we need address after quarantine hotel".

Customs out in force as well. Lot of dogs and scanning luggage on exit.

I guess the thing was that each stay was only few days or two weeks the most. So they see that I was not abusing the system to stay long periods.

Pre-covid used to have 20 to 30 visa exempt entries a year when working outside. Never any issues.

If married when the child is born the father has parental rights as default. If not the father needs to apply via family court to get rights. DNA tests often involved etc.

As birth mother she obviously has the rights but this obviously defines what she can do without the father signature in regards to the child.

With appointment it's 10 minutes. Easy to book online.
