Does anybody have a first hand experience with applying for Non-O married to Thai visa through EVISA in the nearby country? I was considering Ho Chi Minh or Kuala Lumpur. Does it really take now 5-7 working days as stated on their website? Or is it maximum consideration time? Before when applying in person i got it next day. Thank you for sharing.
Hi folks with regards to the single entry tourist visa (evisa) when you apply for it can you show a flight out within 90 days if you explain that you will be applying for a 30day extension in country
Is that possible to request Evisa? As we got visa stamp in my passport because I did it before changing the system . But the bank request evisa again and again although I explained to them 😐
My girlfriend is approaching her first 180 day extension (due next month) for her DTV Visa. I understand that you can do a simple border bounce to get the new 180 day stamp. Is that correct? The most convenient border for her is Malaysia.
When she does the border bounce, she will have a copy of the DTV Visa she received by email, the DTV sticker in her passport, and all of her original documents that she submitted with the application with her. But do any of the documents need to be updated because obviously they will be 6 months old? For example, bank statements, her work portfolio etc.
I am applying for the long-term resident visa , is there any benefit to picking it up before entering the country? I could fly down to LA if I had to, if there is any advantage.
Also I was just told this by the person answering ltr visa questions. But I’m not sure what this means in practice “The pre-screening document service is currently unavailable. You are advised to submit your visa application, along with the required documents into the system first. Our staff will begin reviewing your application once submitted.”
He has applied for an eVisa non-immigrant type O (Retirement) yet he scr*wed up the form and didn't provide the correct documents, even when he received a response that he should do that.
Finally, they rejected his request for insufficient documents.
His question: Can he enter Thailand on a tourist visa (after all this) and apply for a retirement visa in person over there? he prefers to do that this way.
**He meets all the requirements (Age, Money in his home bank account, etc)
