You cannot stay indefinitely on that extension.

People's biggest problem when there wife dies is property in the wife's name.

Then you have a real problem on your hands.

You can't stay on a marriage extension indefinitely if your wife dies.

I've had a look and there doesn't seem anything that I can find that defined the process other than you must notify immigration within 7 days of your loss and then...
