- through which embassy did you apply via? Unfortunately, they do say in the application before you hit submit that they reserve the right to ask for additional documents
Anonymous participant - ok, if you want to say “different embassies different rules” you just said that someone on the other page told you about someone at the Manila embassy telling them that, not the Phnom Penh embassy. So, it works both ways. Also, again, the 10 days. Since July, the embassy has requested all Thais to leave the country. If you look at their Facebook page or even their news, updates on their webpage, they have almost stopped all posts. The embassy now understaffed
Anonymous participant so they must have that in writing, since it is almost impossible to get ahold of them via phone. There is another Thai embassy that clearly says opposite on thejr page.
Anonymous participant - I do know the consular section is responsible for both visas and supporting Thai nationals in Cambodia. The tensions between the two countries have probably lead to more work on supporting Thai nationals. Furthermore, Thailand did request all Thai nationals to leave Cambodia, and that would include non-essential staff and family of essential staff. These things slow reviews down.
