Thais appear brash when their English is negligible. They don't know the subtleties.

Therefore a guard might say..mai dai..cannot..in a manner (aggressive)to convey his order.

If renters think he is abroad a long time they might take advantage

My Belgian friend spends 2 weeks in Thailand and 2 weeks in Belgium continually. Enters at Suwannabhumi.

He has done this for 2 years.

He has already pre booked flights til the end of the year before prices rose a few months ago. Travels first class although I can't see how this could make a difference

I tried Bangkok Bank at Banglampoo to open an account. They wanted a work permit. I'm retired.

I tried Sukhumvit branch..no problem

As I have mentioned many times, go to Bangkok Bank, soi 43 on Sukhumvit road, near Prom pong.

If they suggest insurance say you already have it
