If you buy a physical SIM card in Thailand, don't you have to show your passport and fill out paperwork? With an esim, you don't have to do that.

I used to wait until the middle of the month to transfer, as it seemed there was an uptick. But that pattern didn't last.

Just as an FYI, the Phuket IO I had didn't want to switch me to the income method. I had to insist, gently. I just kept saying "income" and pointing out the 12 monthly transactions on my bank statements.

in general, yes. But if I use my bank card out of the province where my account is, I get dinged.

As others have said, get a full face helmet. I'd recommend one with vents and a drop-down sun visor.

The weight is usually listed on the back. These helmets can get heavy.

If you're going to be transferring money in regularly, only 3 banks allow international transfers of 50,000 or more per time. Bangkok, SCB and Kasikorn.
