Just to clarify. I go to immigration to get the extension stamps transferred and cancelled at the same time?

it’s not 8 months though!

I got 90 day’s on my visa and have had it stamped in immigration every 90 days. Don’t worry about my visa. 😂

It’s interesting about the CMAS ed visa though.

where is the proof of getting granted an ED visa to do an IDC? Again, this is new to me.

I’ve lived in Thailand 5 years, went through my instructor training here. Never heard of anyone getting an ED visa for this.

never met any instructor who got an ed visa... and I’ve met a few.

the liability isn’t totally on the volunteer anymore though is it? Don’t the employers also have huge fines? A few years ago and he fine for me getting caught working in a volunteer job without the right WP / visa was about 10k baht -an acceptable risk. Now it’s hundreds of thousands both for the employee and the employer. Also, it isn’t easy for all charitable causes to become a foundation or business. I think it’s unfair to say ‘they don’t care enough’. That’s bollocks.
