TLDR : Answer Summary
Discussion among Brits regarding the processing times for renewing their UK passports at the UK Visa Application Centre in Bangkok, Thailand. Responses mostly indicate a turnaround time of around 10 to 12 days, although some experiences vary, with one noted case stating it took up to 8 weeks. Recommendations also include confirming with the VFS Global system and the importance of booking appointments in advance due to potential wait times.

I got my new passport there back in 2013 and it took 8 weeks. Maybe they have a new system now so they can turn it around quicker.

Brit passports are done in Bangkok at the VFS Global company in the Trendy Building on Sukhumvit Soi 13

Follow the directions on this link

Turned mine around in 7 days from Bangkok... Couldn't believe it after the 3 month wait a couple of years prior. (Due to a backlog and staff cuts, change of office, summer holidays etc etc)

really? It takes me to a beta site and bases the page you land on on your input. It took me to the right page with the details for applying in BK.

It takes about 10 days, although they recommend allowing 3 weeks. In the summer there can be a backlog.
