I don't want to get an extension stay as I won't be in Thailand for more than 45 days.

I moved out of Thailand and back to the United States last July. I came back here on a one-month trip. I'm not trying to live here again. It's just a vacation. I also legitimately have my onward ticket showing that I leave Bangkok and go back to Los Angeles on February 15th

I went to the Thai consulate website earlier today and there's no mention of needing COVID insurance. I'm double-backed and have my card with me so I'm getting there. Literally boarding the plane right now to head over there.

I still don't know what a vaccine passport is. That was never explained to me. I just said that I have a vaccine card and I don't know if that would work if this rumor were to come true
