no it’s not fine, you need to prove your address in Germany, in my case I applied in Canada, I could not have done that if I did not have a Canadian address and proof of that address, a passport loan would not cut it

I use my electricity bill

Many of us got our DTV through soft power activities, in my case dental work

Hire a Visa agent, you will waste a lot of time and probably not be able to open up a bank account, using a Visa agent they will open doors that you cannot

Anonymous participant exactly what I did, luckily I have an established relationship with my dental office in Hua Hin and they provided a letter on letterhead and the dentist signed the letter, no issues with DTV Visa approval

I know of people that have applied in many places while not in their home country, as long as you are out of Thailand and they do not ask you to come in for an interview, how would anyone know where in the world you were? I applied here in Canada while I was in Canada, but I could have been anywhere in the world, it is all online, DTV Visa is send by email.

I was able to do that, but it was the Consulate that made the change, Vancouver Consulate was very easy to deal with
