What is the step-by-step process for filing legal stay documentation in Thailand if the TM47 was rejected?

Question: we have the dtv. Now we filed an online tm47, but that was rejected, because they want the first time an in person visit - that is no problem.

But what do we need to do to file that we are staying on this country legal?

I asked the landlord to give me a copy of the TM30 and will receive that this afternoon.

Do we miss a step somewhere?

Any clear step for step process explained would be great.

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a DT visa and attempted to file an online TM47 but faced rejection requiring an in-person visit. They seek clarification on what steps are needed to legally document their stay in Thailand, including confirmation of receiving the TM30 from their landlord. Comments reflect confusion about the rules and highlight community support for navigating these processes.

we all get confused about the rules, after you have done it once it is easy, that is what this group is for, we are all here to help each other, negative comments are useless

Checked my passport - due on 21st. I have time. I go in person as a good pie shop close to the office and a great Lebanese Restaurant :-)

So you already stay Thailand 90 days? No! So how the hell you want to file a 90 days report when you just 5 days in Thailand!?

And you want to be a remote worker? How do you survive in a foreign country if you even don't understand the easiest things

rather than pretending to be smarter than other, you should better consider using your brain before using your mouth. 90 days report is open from 15 days before to 7 days after 90 days, which means that people who entered Thailand with DTV after end of July are already eligible for 90 days report.

For Maurice, the answer is : you just need to show up with the TM30 and file this, and ask them the process for next times online :)
