My mom's "under consideration" stamp was due today so I went to MTT this morning and the officers did not know about the official announcement yet so we just got her extension until 26 October only. So yes, as Tod said, I would wait it out a few days if possible.

Oh, yeah. I have Chilean passport hehe That is why I wanted to know about the "Extension of Stay to support a spouse" for a year~ I guess my first step is getting the Non-Immigrant O Visa. Thanks a lot for the info, Tod!

Oh, I checked the Thai Embassy in Korea site and one can only register marriages there but they don't handle visa process. So I guess Laos, Vietnam or Malaysia it is~
