My passport got wet and damaged here in Bangkok, Thailand. The embassy said that they can issue me an emergency passport to go back home and renew my passport instead of issuing me a temporary passport to travel further. But, i already have a flight ticket booked to Malaysia. I've already tried contacting AirAsia airlines but it's difficult to reach them and contact with them person to person. So, can i contact Malaysian embassy and check with them if they can help? I also have a soft copy of my passport's bio page before it got damaged.

1. Original passport with at least 12-months validity and 2 blank visa pages✅

2. For Non-Malaysians, proof of permanent resident status in Malaysia (PR card) ❌❌❌❌

May i ask my embassy they dont give me any latter for extant,so i just can overstay in thailand?

My visa is tourist VISA.

And i didt any choice of extend my visa?

hope i am allow to post this - just a head up Malaysian embassy will not issue request letter for visa extension for those on tourist visa or visa exempt for Malaysian reason being it has being 6 months since & it's easy to enter Malaysia now.

Any Malaysian has gotten letter from the embassy for extension? I’ve been emailing and calling but still haven’t got the letter.

I have a friend stuck in Malaysia. He tried to renter through Don Muang airport on a visa exemption while a new place processed the business visa paperwork for him. Immigration at DM sent him back to Malaysia. He tried to renter again via the land border but was denied entry there as well. Obviously at this point he needs a real visa from a Thai embassy. Is it possible to get a tourist visa from the embassy in KL or would he be better off going to Savannakhet?

Hi guys. Just had an issue today as a South African applying for a non-immigrant B visa in KL. They went through my paperwork and saw everything was correct, but would not process it due to a new ruling barring south Africans and other nations from applying in Malaysia. Is anyone aware of this or how we go about getting our visas without having to fly back to SA? They took my paperwork and said that they would try to get it through, but it may take a month which means another trip at the least. It is already very expensive and I really want to get things sorted properly.
