Hi,

In mid-June, I entered Thailand by air from home on a 30-day visa-exempt stamp, stayed 5 days and flew to another country where I stayed about 3 weeks.

I re-entered Thailand by land on a 30-day exemption stamp and had to renew my passport once back in Bangkok because it got damaged. As soon as I get my new passport, I'm planning on flying out of Thailand for 2 or 3weeks, and come back in for a bit (2 weeks) before flying home for good.

A few questions:

1. Could I be denied entry to Thailand if I fly in for the 2nd time (for now I've come in once by air and once by land in a 3-week time span)?

2. Do I have to transfer my exemption stamp at immigration if I'm flying out anyway or can I just show up at the airport with my two passports? Keep in mind I'll have to come back to Thailand before flying home.

3. If I need to go to immigration for an exemption-stamp transfer, what do I need to bring except my 2 passports? Do I need a TM30? Is it at Laksi or CW?

It's so confusing! Thank you for your help

I received my tourist extension visa today and they stated this would be the last time I could enter Thailand on this passport because it got wet and “damaged” before. My issue is that all of the relevant pages show no issues and there are still 20 clean and unaffected pages still to be used. There are only a few pages that show issue and should have no bearing going forward. Anyway to dispute this?

My passport got wet and damaged here in Bangkok, Thailand. The embassy said that they can issue me an emergency passport to go back home and renew my passport instead of issuing me a temporary passport to travel further. But, i already have a flight ticket booked to Malaysia. I've already tried contacting AirAsia airlines but it's difficult to reach them and contact with them person to person. So, can i contact Malaysian embassy and check with them if they can help? I also have a soft copy of my passport's bio page before it got damaged.

Hello, I've booked an air Asia flight from Bangkok to kuala lumpur. But, my passport has been damaged due to rain water yesterday so would the airlines let me board the flight at the airport?

I've hereby attached the images of my wet and damaged passport.

Please let me know as soon as possible.

Thank you!

P.S. :- I'm in Bangkok right now.

So my friend left Singapore and entered Thailand without any issues with his slightly damaged passport but when he did his reporting he was told to get a new passport. The embassy can only issue a temporary passport as he will be leaving Bangkok on Friday night. Will the Thai immigration transfer the visa stamps as he is on a work permit on a1 year temporary passport? Or would it be better to just leave Thailand on the old passport and apply for a regular passport in Germany and then transfer all the stamps on that one? Thanks!
