Hi everyone.

I’m 62yo from Australia trying to get insurance to satisfy requirements for non Immigrant type O visa 90 days I’m getting quotes above 30.000 THB for 90 days only. Is that right ? Can anyone recommend a Thai Insurance company? Thai Consulate in Sydney is asking for a minimum cover of 400.000 THB as in-house Patient and 40.000 THB for out-patient as well as cover for COVID

Everything else question: Does Vietnam still require tourists entering the country to have Covid insurance of US $10,000? This was not mentioned when I applied for E-visa. Google search is not clear on this. If required, can you buy it at the airport, or where to obtain? Thanks for any advice.

Could you please give me some Visa advice? I entered Thailand on a Canadian passport via Suvarnabhumi Nov. 4, 2021 and on a Non-O Visa. My wife is Thai and I applied at Udon Thani on March 3, 2022 for a 1 year extension based on Marriage. This was granted and a stamp was put in my passport for a "Re-Entry Permit" valid until Feb. 1, 2023. We left Thailand on March 30, 2022 for Canada and now have tickets to enter Thailand on October 6, 2022 and to return to Canada on March 30, 2023. My questions are: (1) what paperwork do I need to fly back to Thailand this coming October 6. Is my "Immigration Thailand Re-Entry Permit all that I need? (2) I will have Canadian health insurance ($10 million). Do I need any other insurance, i.e. "Covid Insurance"? (3) Any other docs-before it was Thailand Pass? Many thanks for your time and consideration

Hi.. since effective July Thai Pass already not require, how about COVID Insurance USD10,000. Still require?

Is it abolished as well?

We only require to print the vaccination cert to enter Thailand?

Hello to all,

Would appreciate your advice relating to correct Insurance requirement for following scenario.

Currently @Pattaya on OA Visa no insurance originally issued Australia 2018 although on yearly extensions now expiring Oct 2022.

Will be returning to Australia for 3 weeks late August then back to Pattaya.

Do I need to obtain the full insurance as required by Thai Immigration costing around 60000THB plus or would Covid Insurance be adequate.

The other alternative is maybe convert to O Visa via Agent here prior to departure for Australia.

I'm 69 years old and ok to pay Insurance if absolutely necessary but have been very healthy without any serious illnesses to date etc.

Thanks for taking the time for your advice.

Cheers

Hello. My husband tried to apply for a Non-O visa (thai wife).

The immigration office requested a covid insurance from us.

My questions are;

1. Is this normal?

2. How long that we need to buy the insurance?

3. How much is the insurance coverage that could be enough?

Thank you in advance for your help.
